Music ministry at Faith Covenant Church is all about worship. The guiding principle of our music ministry is found in Romans 15:5,6...

Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Worship is an eternal pursuit. Worship is the one thing that we practice on this earth that will continue in heaven. We worship because our God is worthy of the highest praise his creation can offer. Because of this, the focus of our music department is to lead the members of Faith Covenant in Worship.

We pray that as God is lifted up and exalted, believers will be drawn closer to Him and find encouragement in their daily walk. We pray also that those who have not yet placed their trust in Christ will be drawn to do so. We believe that God created music to have a powerful impact in people's lives. We believe that God, through His Holy Spirit, will use the ministry of music to reach people in a way the spoken word cannot. To this end, we use instrumentalists, worship leaders, choir members, ensembles, and soloists.

Who should be involved in Music Ministry at FCC?

People who...

• love God and have placed their faith in Jesus Christ for salvation,
• make every effort to live in obedience to God,
• have a desire to praise God by singing or playing an instrument and have been gifted by God to do so,
• are willing to invest time in preparation.
